The research confirmed the app listing from the roster, but did not verify an app-only Boone County search feature. Legal mail is treated separately and must come from an official law office and be properly addressed. The research did not locate a public per-minute phone rate or phone vendor name, but the jail page says inmate cells have phones for outgoing calls. Inmates may buy calling cards from commissary, and collect calls are billed to the recipient.

Money can be deposited at a lobby kiosk with cash, debit card, or credit card, and the jail page says kiosk deposits can be made 24 hours a day. Money orders must be made out to Boone County Sheriff's Department with the inmate name clearly written on the money order.
